In addition to my personal college essay coaching work, I am a college essay specialist with The College Essay Guy, the nation’s premier essay coaching service, where I serve students nationwide.



College admission is changing rapidly! 2,100+ colleges and universities are now “SAT optional”. A 2023 survey by the National Association for College Admission Counseling found 19% of schools put “considerable” weight on the college essay, compared to just 5% for SAT/ACT. The application essay has never been more important.
